Operation Blood Sun: RP Lore and Setting thread.

On the year 2278, The Earth, finally, united under a single banner set out to explore the stars. The EFA (Earth Federation Alliance) ordered the construction of mighty vessels to colonize the worlds fit for habitation, in order to further our evolution as Humans. No longer was there conflict and strife on Earth, all were finally at peace, setting out to explore the border of the cosmos which had eluded us for so long. Mars, was no longer the next frontier. Many years passed as the EFA furthered Humanity's agenda and became leading in politics, might and respect. Both on Earth and in all colony united under it's banner. The Green banner picturing our blue planet in the forefront, circled by a large fiery golden halo to represent our sun; Sol in the background was the one and only flag to fly in the winds of distant worlds. It remained so until the EFA then-Leader; Hans-Jeremiah Ludwig Schwarz, was found dead. Presumed assassinated in his chambers on the 1st of October 2451, the EFA fell into chaos. Like a magnificently crafted pillar of stone, removing the base made it all crumble. In 2452 The EFA began anew under command of Hans-Jeremiah's most trusted friend; Li Jun, a Chinese man of unparalleled tactical prowess. His reign would be full of conflicts, having to deal with the newly created faction calling themselves the "Onyx Consortium" who publicly declared themselves enemies of the peace. Li Jun would meet his end soon after, dying of old age on the 11th of august 2456. With his death, his son, Li Ji, would set out to further his fathers work and rebuild the EFA from the ground up into what is now known as the Federation. Although Li Ji would do outstanding work, Some disagreed with the powerful might of the Federation and created the Alliance; whom would set out to achieve long lasting peace once and for all through negotiations and trades. The Onyx Consortium would eventually fall to their own members, because of a disagreement for power within their ranks and the Federation would take swift action to capitalize upon this reality. The Onyx Consortium would cease to exist on the night of the 18th of February 2461, 4 years after the creation of the Alliance. Most members of the Onyx Consortium would leave to live the rest of their lives laying low, under the weather, hiding from the Federation's laws in systems yet to be colonized. Li Ji would wield a powerful campaign in politics and achieve Leadership of the Galactic council soon after it's creation in 2475, bringing his father's work to a conclusion. He would then later go on to die of old age at 91 years old, peacefully resting in his mansion on a remote island, here on Earth. His date of death would be; May 6th, 2513.

In 2671, the Alliance would finally claim leadership in the galactic council under the political campaign of Elizabeth Mary Williams. The few years to follow would be the most peaceful times humanity would ever see.
Elizabeth M. Williams would eventually die of sickness at 78 years old, on the year 2694. During the next elections the Federation leaders would once again claim the title of galactic leaders. It would remain so until now.

The year is 2811, Humanity reached every frontier and milestone they had ever dreamed of, peace is present at every corner. Or so, we all thought... Rumors of a new faction declaring war on civilian worlds simply to show dominance to the Federation are raging and being carried by the winds all the way to the galactic council. This means that for the first time in 300 years, War will rage on, once more. Words spread of their atrocities and their Red and Black banner depicting a crown of thorns. They happen to call themselves; the Imperium. Not much is known of them yet, but Humanity is bracing for the worst, and the Federation is once again turning the rusty gears of this war machine to stop this madness once and for all.
